We collect only your email address when you create an account. We do not collect your name, physical address, phone number, age, or any other personal information.

Your payment information (credit/debit card details) is processed exclusively by PayPal. HAURELEE never stores or has access to your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used solely to:

Create and manage your HAURELEE account
Authenticate your access to your subscription and purchased books
Send you important account-related communications (e.g., subscription confirmation)

We do not use your email for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell or share your email with third parties.

3. Children's Privacy

HAURELEE's digital reading platform is designed for use by parents and guardians on behalf of children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts must be created by an adult.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with industry-standard encryption. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

PayPal — payment processing. Subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — account authentication and data storage.
Netlify — website hosting.
TikTok — HAURELEE uses TikTok's Content Posting API to publish promotional videos (book trailers, illustrations, and announcements) to HAURELEE's own official TikTok account. This integration is used exclusively by HAURELEE to manage its own TikTok content and does not post on behalf of, or access data from, individual HAURELEE users or readers. The only data involved is the authorization token for HAURELEE's own TikTok business account, which is stored securely and used solely to schedule and publish HAURELEE-owned video content. Use of TikTok's platform is subject to TikTok's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies

We use browser local storage (similar to cookies) to remember your preferences such as dark mode, language selection, reading progress, and bookmarks. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

7. Your Rights

You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at haurelee@gmail.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

This service is operated from Peru and complies with Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Ley N° 29733).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of HAURELEE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
